Work doesn’t have to be a pressure cooker
Consulting is a burn out profession. DEIB is a burn out profession. We want to change that. We value output and focus over long hours and chaos. We do our best to give the training and guidance necessary to make sure everyone feels well prepared for any work they are taking on.
We prioritize a 40-hour-work week, and respect weekends and vacations. There is always more to do but we’re in this for the long haul. This also applies to our clients: we want to push them to move the needle, but in a way that is sustainable and long-term.
We practice what we preach
We advise our clients on how to build more equitable organizations, so you better believe we do our best to walk-the-walk ourselves. It doesn’t matter that we’re a small team, that this is a busy time, or that we’re growing—we prioritize having a place to work where everyone has an equal shot at success and is challenged to solve new and interesting problems. This means hiring and performance review processes aligned with best practice to undermine bias, regular 1:1s, and a high level of trust and autonomy.

We created this company to build more equitable organizations—and we hold true to this value, even when it’s tough. That means we focus on what we’re good at, and that we don’t sell services shown to have little impact (hello one-off trainings) no matter how many prospective clients ask. We push ourselves to learn, grow and constantly improve.
We’re empathetic
Sometimes DEIB can (ironically) feel exclusive—like if you don’t know the latest acronym, or you know a little less than someone else, that you shouldn’t even participate in these conversations.
We strive to meet people where they are, and we recognize when people are trying. This doesn’t mean that we sugar coat things, that we don’t call out problems, or that we shy away from tough conversations. It just means that we come from a place of empathy: no one is perfect, and no one gets it right 100% of the time.

Instead, we’ll learn about your interest and fit for the role through a few targeted short answer questions.
Structured Interviews FTW
We evaluate everyone for the qualifications listed in the job description and values fit. We want to see you at your best and fairly compare all candidates, so we’ll tell you our interview questions in advance! Bet you didn’t see that coming.
Work with us
For candidates that make it to the final round, we’ll ask you to spend 5-10 hours collaborating with us on a mock assessment using a scrubbed data set. We believe seeing your work output is the best way to evaluate your qualifications. We also believe in fairness, so we’ll pay you for your time and contribution.
