The Background

LS Technologies, a firm that provides aviation engineering, technical and professional services for Federal Government agencies, was looking to build its company culture and sense of inclusion for all employees. Based in Washington, DC with additional offices and staff based in various locations throughout North America.

The Challenge

In 2022, Peoplism partnered with LS Technologies to achieve their goal of building a more inclusive & equitable employee experience by empowering their managers with the necessary tools to both lead inclusive teams and provide equitable performance management.

Working with Peoplism

Managers at LS Technologies took part in two workshops designed to give managers the practical skills they need to run more inclusive and equitable teams.

Combining the latest research on DEI training with hands-on practice and peer discussion, the workshops covered:

Inclusive Actions

  • What inclusion is and why it matters

  • Inclusive language

  • Running inclusive meetings

Undermining Bias in Performance Reviews

  • Undermining top biases in performance reviews

  • Relationship-building performance conversations

“The inclusive actions workshop made a topic that feels daunting and fraught with controversy feel approachable for all of our managers. The mix of research and activities brought it all together in ways that were immediately applicable for our team.

Rachel Wardley VP of Corporate Services, LS Technologies

After the final session managers reported:
